Occupational Therapy is a healthcare profession which offers skills and advice aiming to increase and maximise a persons independence in all areas of daily living, including looking after themselves (self-care), domestic tasks, work, recreation, social interaction, community access and mobility.
If you or a family member is experiencing increased difficulties with activities of daily living due to age or a disability, a referral to the DRCs Occupational Therapist from either yourself, a family member or friend, or a health professional, may be appropriate.
